Daytime talker would be aimed at mothers

Mothers are a big chunk of the daytime audience, and now they could be getting a show just for them.

Warner Bros.-owned Telepictures Prods. is said to be mulling the idea of a daytime talker based on MomLogic.com, the Telepictures-created Web site launched by Warner Bros. Television Group in November. The project is being eyed to launch as early as fall 2009.

MomLogic.com is aimed at mothers of all ages and includes news and entertainment content -- such as features, photos, videos and games -- related to topics including parenting, health, fashion, beauty, celebrity, love and sex. Sources said Telepictures has put out feelers for a possible host or hosts, which could include someone like a celebrity mom.

A rep for the company declined comment.

It wouldn't be the first time a Telepictures-created online property spawned a syndicated TV show: TMZ.com, a joint venture with AOL that launched in 2005, was followed by a newsmagazine strip two years later.
