Reveille has picked up the rights to produce an Italian scripted legal drama.

The project is titled "About My Brother," and the original version follows a New York lawyer who returns home to Italy and takes over his family's law firm. He discovers his autistic brother is a formidable investigator, and the two form an unconventional partnership.

"'About My Brother' seamlessly blends a legal drama with a modern and relatable family dynamic," said Carolyn Bernstein, executive vp scripted at Reveille. "We're excited to adapt this hit format for a new audience in the U.S."

Reveille picked up the rights from Italy's Mediaset, which produced and aired "Brother."

Reveille's scripted shows include NBC's "The Office," ABC's "Ugly Betty" and Showtime's "The Tudors."

"Mediaset's motto is universal stories with Italian flavor," said Gonzalo Cilley, president of Mediaset representative Resonate TV. " 'Brother' is a great example of a relatable Italian story with unique characters that translates globally."
