By Nellie Andreeva

June 25, 2007, ET

Hot off her recurring role on NBC's "Heroes," Missy Peregrym has landed the female lead on the CW's upcoming one-hour series "Reaper."

Meanwhile, newcomer David Alpay has joined Showtime's drama "The Tudors" as a regular.

"Reaper," from ABC Studios and the Mark Gordon Co., centers on a 21-year-old slacker (Bret Harrison) who becomes a bounty hunter for the devil (Ray Wise).

Peregrym will play the slacker's pretty co-worker on whom he has a crush. She replaces Nikki Reed, who played the role in the pilot.

On "Heroes," Peregrym played Linderman's "illusionist" associate Candice Wilmer, who could take on the appearance of other people. Her credits include ABC's series "Life As We Know It" and the feature "Stick It." She is managed by Brillstein's Jai Khanna.

On the Reveille-produced "Tudors," about the early reign of Henry VIII (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), Alpay will play Smeaton, a promiscuous musician and danceran accomplished musician and dancer who loves to indulge in sex.

The Toronto-born Alpay is a newcomer to Los Angeles but has appeared in a number of Toronto-based productions, including the 2002 feature "Ararat," in which he played the lead, last year's "Man of the Year" and the upcoming "Closing the Ring."

He is repped by Kritzer Levine Wilkins Entertainment and Drew MacKenzie of Great North Artists in Canada.
