Justin Adler has departed his comedy pilot at NBC from the Tannenbaum Co. and Sony TV.

The move was made after the run-through for the untitled multicamera project this week and came ahead of next week's shoot.

Comedy veterans Moses Port and David Guarascio, who are under an overall deal at Sony, have been brought in to shepherd the pilot, which marks the first multicamera directing effort for Anthony and Joe Russo.

The comedy, previously known as "The Untitled Justin Adler Project," revolves around adult siblings and their controlling mother.

The cast includes Nick D'Agosto, Leslie Bibb, Michael Rosenbaum, John Michael Higgins, Alison Munn and Jill Clayburgh.

Adler's recent credits include ABC pair "Samantha Who?" and "Better Off Ted." Guarascio and Port most recently created and executive produced CW's "Aliens in America."

On Monday, Missi Pyle stepped in for Bibb.
