Sony ups Shabroom at Crackle


February 28, 2008 Sony Picture Entertainment named Jonathan Shambroom senior vp and general manager of its online video site Crackle Wednesday. When asked if Felser and Samuel would still retain a management role, a spokesman for the company said, "their roles are changing and that's still being worked out." Crackle presents short-form content from Sony Pictures Television and other producers along with user-generated content with an eye on graduating it to TV or film.
