New 'Paige' for Newman; Baker at CBS

March 19, 2007 Jaime Ray Newman has landed the title role in the CW's drama pilot "I am Paige Armstrong," while Emmy winner Kathy Baker has been tapped to co-star in CBS' drama pilot "Babylon Fields." Additionally, Kevin Dunn has come aboard ABC's comedy pilot "Sam I Am," Kelly Rutherford has been added to the CW's drama pilot "Gossip Girl," Annie Potts has been cast in the CW's untitled Maggie Friedman dramedy pilot, and Peter Keleghan has been added to NBC's comedy pilot "Business Class."   "Armstrong" centers on a naive but bright twentysomething congressional aide (Newman) who becomes so infuriated by her boss' political maneuvering that she decides to run against him.
