Oprah Winfrey trying to get Olympians on show
August 22, 2008 Oprah Winfrey is hoping to bring the U.S. Olympic medalists from the 2008 Games together on her daytime talk show, according to Sports Business Daily. Asked for comment, a rep for "The Oprah Winfrey Show" said only that "it's not confirmed," but the publication reported that three agents who represent winning athletes had been contacted about appearing on a show with every U.S. medalist from this year's Games.
