Allison Miller is queen of 'Kings'
April 24, 2008 After an extensive search, Allison Miller has landed the female lead in NBC's upcoming drama series "Kings." "Kings," from Universal Media Studios, is a contemporary take on the story of King David that centers on David Shepherd (Christopher Egan), a pure-hearted young warrior who joins the court of the charismatic and authoritative King Silas (Ian McShane). In the project, whose two-hour pilot will be directed by Francis Lawrence, up-and-comer Miller will play Michelle Benjamin, Silas' daughter who falls in love with David.
