It's the end of the road for Ryan Murphy's transsexual drama
"Pretty/Handsome."
The controversial project, exec produced by Murphy, Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner, was developed for FX, which ordered it to pilot starring Joseph Fiennes as a family man who decides to get a sex change. The pilot, which co-starred Blythe Danner, Robert Wagner and Christopher Egan, created strong buzz around town, but in March, FX passed on it. Around the same time, Egan landed the lead in NBC's new series "Kings." "Pretty/Handsome" producer 20th Century Fox TV shopped the project to other outlets but was unsuccessful.
