Starz offers 'getaway' from convention


July 22, 2008 The Starz Green Room will offer screenings of Starz series and movies from sibling Overture Films as well as topical panels and refreshments for attendees. "The presidential race this year marks an extraordinary time for the country, and since the Democrats are meeting in our backyard, we thought it was an ideal opportunity for us to welcome them with a mixture of hospitality and food for thought," Starz chairman/CEO Robert Clasen said.
