History Channel's 'WWII' ratings steady

Documentary series averaged 2.4 mil viewers during run

History Channel's documentary series "WWII in HD" kept steady in the ratings, wrapping with an average of 2.4 million viewers for its five-night run.

That is in line with the 2.6 million viewers who tuned in for the premiere of "WWII in HD," narrated by Gary Sinise, Nov. 15.

Overall, more than 24.1 million people watched at least a portion of the 10-hour program, which tells the story of the war through the eyes of 12 Americans who fought in or contributed to the war effort.
