'Idol,' 'House' deliver one-two punch for Fox

March 29, 2007 The "American Idol"/"House" combo delivered another dominating Tuesday win for Fox, while the new reality series "Dream Vote" was off to a slow start for ABC. The top 10 "Idol" contestants performed to the tune of 26.8 million viewers and a 10.4 rating/29 share at 8 p.m., according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. With real-life voting for the "Idol" contestants going on in the 10-11 p.m. hour, only 6.1 million tuned in to check ABC's new reality series "Dream Vote," which drew 1.6/5 in the 18-49 demo for third place in the time period.
