Brian Dennehy has been tapped to co-star opposite Donnie Wahlberg on TNT's drama pilot "Bunker Hill."

Meanwhile, Mather Zickel and Todd Stashwick have joined CBS' comedy pilot "The Kareskys."

"Bunker," from Warner Horizon, writer Walon Green and director Jon Avnet, explores crime, corruption and deceit in the Bunker Hill section of Boston and centers on Mike Moriarty (Donnie Wahlberg), who returns to Boston as a cop protecting the streets he grew up on.

Dennehy will play Martin Kelsey, a flower shop owner who was a former mob boss.

The actor, recently seen in "Righteous Kill," is repped by ICM and manager Susan Smith.

"Karenskys," from creator Linwood Boomer, director Pam Fryman, BermanBraun and UMS, centers on Emily Atwood (Alexander), who returns to her hometown when her husband Bill's (Zickel) job as biology professor relocates them and is reunited with her large, eccentric family, the Karenskys.

Stashwick will play Emily's brother "Little Max," who runs one of his father's butcher shops and lives with his wife (Tinsley Grimes) and their seven children next door to his parents.

Zickel ("Rachel Getting Married") is repped by Abrams, Generate and attorney Lev Ginsburg.

Stashwick ("The Riches") is repped by APA and Meghan Schumacher Management.
