George Lucas presents 'Clone Wars' at Cartoon upfront


April 03, 2008 In addition, they unveiled a new initiative called "Cartoonstitute" that is designed to dramatically increase Cartoon's development slate by creating up to 150 pieces of programming over the next 20 months. Following a brief Q&A between Lucas and Turner Animation president and COO Stuart Snyder, the Cartoon Network exec told the advertisers "Clone Wars" represented "once in a lifetime" opportunities for their brands. Chief content officer Rob Sorcher said Cartoon is "getting organized with genres and nights of programming."
