'Lie to Me' picked up for full season

Fox has ordered nine more episodes of the Tim Roth drama

"Lie to Me" has been picked up for a full season.

Fox has ordered nine additional episodes of the human lie detector drama starring Tim Roth.

The episodic order follows the three-script pickup for "Lie" last month.

With Shawn Ryan as new showrunner, the 20th TV/Imagine TV-produced "Lie to Me" has done so-so in the post-"House" Monday 9 p.m. time slot this fall.

In its most recent airing this week, the Christmas-themed episode of "Lie to Me" averaged 7.3 million viewers and a 2.7 rating in adults 18-49, holding onto 60% of its "House" demo lead-in.

The back-nine order for "Lie" follows Fox's full-season pickup of sophomore "Glee" and the full second-season order for freshman animated comedy "The Cleveland Show."

Joss Whedon's sophomore si-fi drama "Dollhouse" was recently canceled, with freshman comedy "Brothers" also headed in that direction, though there has been no official word on it.
