LONDON -- FremantleMedia has picked up distribution rights to a range of forthcoming NBC primetime shows from BermanBraun and Thom Beer's Original Prods.

FremantleMedia Enterprises has secured international television, home entertainment and format rights to "America's Toughest Jobs," "Swords" and "Shark Taggers," which will air as part of NBC's 2008-09 season. "Toughest Jobs" takes a group of contestants and puts them to work in some of the most grueling jobs in the world, including crab-fishing in Alaska, logging in the Pacific Northwest and roughnecking on a Texas oil rig.

Docusoap "Swords" follows New England fishermen and their families as they brave the brutal storms of the North Atlantic to bring in their catch, while "Shark Taggers" takes to the world of a group of marine biologists tracking the ocean's top predators.

L.A.-based BermanBraun and Original Prods. have a production deal with NBC to provide 30 hours of nonscripted programming.
