NEW YORK -- News Corp.'s MySpace said Thursday that it will debut
"Prom Queen," a scripted serialized mystery from former Disney CEO
Michael Eisner's Vuguru production company, exclusively on their
site Sunday at 7 p.m. EST. "Prom Queen" is a series of 80 videos,
each 90 seconds in length, focusing on the final two months of high
school. It will be exclusive to MySpace for 12 hours before other
sites can pick it up. The series also has its own profile page on
MySpace, myspace.com/promqueentv, and the social networking portal
will offer behind-the-scenes footage from the series among other
features. Vuguru was formed this month and is owned by the Tornante
Co., Eisner's investment firm.
