CBS Entertainment taps Carlson for alternative
April 16, 2008 Veteran reality producer Chris Carlson has been named vp alternative programming at CBS Entertainment. Carlson will develop new alternative programs -- including reality, game shows and other nonscripted programming -- while helping to oversee CBS' current slate of reality series. Carlson started his career in the music development division of MTV Networks, where he helped develop and oversee "Making the Video," "Making the Tour," "Senseless Acts of Video," "DisMissed," "Punk'd," "The Osbournes" and "Kidnapped," among other series and specials.
