CBS goes the distance for 'Exit 19'
March 19, 2008 CBS has taken "Exit 19," greenlighting a drama pilot presentation starring Geena Davis. "Exit 19" will star Davis as a quirky homicide detective on the mean streets of Manhattan who also is a single mom to two kids in the Long Island suburbs. The project was developed at ABC Studios by writer Michael Nankin and studio-based producers Gene Stein and Nina Wass, whose overall deal there was terminated during the writers strike.
