Rena Sofer cast in 'NCIS'

Joins drama as a potential recurring character

Rena Sofer has joined CBS' "NCIS" as a potential recurring.

She will play a no-nonsense attorney with mysterious motives. Sofer was recently seen in the Hallmark Channel movie "Always & Forever" and also recurred on Fox's "24" and NBC's "Heroes."

She can next be seen in Gold Circle Films' "The New Daughter" opposite Kevin Costner.

Sofer is repped by Domain and Framework.
