Andy Milder has been upped to a series regular on Showtime's "Weeds" for the dark comedy's upcoming third season.

Additionally, Milder is expected to land a supporting role in Ron Howard's feature adaptation of the play "Frost/Nixon."

Milder has been recurring on "Weeds," playing Dean Hodes, legal counsel for the suburban drug cartel and husband to Celia Hodes (Elizabeth Perkins).

"Frost/Nixon" will reunite Milder with Howard. The actor had a role in Howard's "Apollo 13," which he also reprised on HBO's miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon," which Howard produced.

Milder, who next appears in the feature "Transformers," is repped by the Stone Manners Agency, manager Larry Hummel and attorney Darren Trattner.
