MTG launches pay TV movie channel In U.S

MOSCOW -- The Russian-language pay TV channel “Viasat TV1000 Russian Cinema” has been launched in the U.S. via DISH Network, the channel’s owner MTG announced Monday.

The channel is now offered as part of DISH Network’s five-channel Russian-language package at $32.99 a month and is also available A La Carte at $9.99 a month.

MTG said that the channel’s launch in the U.S. is a logical step in the development of the Viasat network. “Viasat TV1000 Russian Cinema” was launched in 2005.
