NEW DELHI -- Summit Entertainment has pacted with the distribution arm of PVR Cinemas. Mumbai-based PVR Pictures that will see the Indian releases of vampire franchise "Twilight" on November 20 and sequel "New Moon" on December 4.

CEO Uday Singh told THR that the recently inked deal is only focused on distribution of Summit titles, but  "the chances of exploring potential co-production of remakes or other projects could be pursued but that is still theoretical," said Singh.

PVR Pictures, the cinema chain's sister production banner, has tasted success with Bollywood offerings, starting with debut title 2007's award-winning "Taare Zameen Par" ("Stars on Earth").

PVR has existing distribution deals for India with Focus Features and Miramax among other independent banners.
