LONDON -- Fresh from the success of the "Transformers" sequel, Hasbro president and CEO Brian Goldner will deliver a Mipcom keynote on digital gaming, connected entertainment and how Hasbro grew into a $4 billion-a year-family entertainment and leisure specialist, it was announced by market organizers Monday.

With such brands as "Transformers," "My Little Pony" and "GI Joe," Hasbro has become a leader in entertainment gaming through its many ties with the film, video and gaming sectors.

Goldner was executive producer on Michael Bay's "Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen," which last weekend logged one of the biggest ever openings and has taken over $200 million in U.S. boxoffice receipts and will discuss Hasbro's increasing role in film production. He is also producer of this summer's forthcoming release "G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra."

Hasbro has also recently announced a joint venture with Discovery Communications to launch a kids entertainment channel and online resource around children and family entertainment.

Goldner will deliver a keynote entitled "Becoming a Branded Play Company" as part of a Mipcom conference program that will focus on digital entertainment, rethinking production and connected entertainment.

The Cannes-based market will run Oct. 5 through 9.
