Belgacom's Didier Bellens stays put


August 29, 2008 Didier Bellens, embattled CEO of cable, telecom and digital TV company Belgacom, is staying in his post but taking a $1.5 million pay cut, the company's board said Friday. Bellens, at Belgacom's helm since 2003, will still earn $2.5 million after negotiations with the board and the federal government, which holds a 53% share in Belgacom.
