Canada, U.K. to collaborate on TV scripts


September 06, 2008 TORONTO – International broadcasters CanWest Broadcasting and the BBC unveiled plans Sept. 6 for an incubator that will see Canadian and British scriptwriters collaborate on potential TV co-productions. The Canada-UK script incubation program, launched at the Toronto International Film Festival, will be based out of the Canadian Film Centre and will hothouse scripts for potential exploitation by Canadian and British TV producers.
