Besnehard takes rights to 'Grandmothers'


May 19, 2008 Besnehard's production shingle, Mon Voisin Prods., is producing the English-language drama, which will be directed by Anne Fontaine and co-star Nathalie Baye and an A-list American actress. Fontaine, currently in pre-production on her highly anticipated Coco Chanel biopic starring Audrey Tautou, will shoot "Grandmothers" in Biarritz after production on "Coco" wraps. Mon Voisin Prods. wrapped shooting on Caroline Bottaro's "Joueuse," starring Kevin Kline and Sandrine Bonnaire, earlier this week and is in post-production on Jean-Michel Ribes' "Musee Haut, Musee Bas," which stars a who's who of Gallic talent and is set for a September release in France.
