Multi-year deal for future formats with Dick de Rijk

COLOGNE, Germany -- European broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 has signed an exclusive multi-year agreement with "Deal or No Deal" co-creator Dick de Rijk, for rights to future formats he develops.

In addition to the international game show hit, de Rijk, as an International Creative Partner with Dutch format giant Endemol, was responsible for entertainment formats including "Show Me the Money" and "Set for Life." "Deal or No Deal" airs on several ProSieben channels, including Sat.1 in Germany.

The new agreement, announced Tuesday by de Rijk and ProSiebenSat.1's evp of group content acquisitions and production Jan Frouman, will give ProSieben exclusive rights across all platforms for new formats he develops. World sales will be handled by ProSieben's distribution arm SevenOne International.
