One of the few actresses who can still open a movie, Jolie's films grossed close to $1 billion worldwide in 2008 (DreamWorks/Paramount's "Kung Fu Panda" and Universal's "Wanted" and "Changeling"). As such, attaching her to a project all but ensures a green light. But Jolie is more than a film star. She has harnessed the power of her celebrity to foster social change. She's a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Refugee Agency, has donated millions to various children's charities and has used her media access to shed light on humanitarian causes, including child poverty and the Darfur crisis. On top of that, Jolie gave birth to twins in July with partner Brad Pitt, making her a mother of six. "Angie is a total professional, and a very talented one at that," says "Changeling" producer Rob Lorenz. Her upcoming schedule includes "The Mercenary: Love and Honor" for Wheelhouse Entertainment and "Atlas Shrugged" for Lionsgate -- and with a little luck there may be a best actress Oscar on her mantle for "Changeling" come February.
