Tyra Banks

36. Tyra Banks

President, Bankable Prods.

"Tyra is one of those people who has the whole package," says Ken Mok, Banks' production partner on "America's Next Top Model" (now in its 11th cycle) and "Stylista" (which debuted in October), both for the CW. Banks' package has always been attractive, but more recently she has morphed into a burgeoning minimogul, with her own Daytime Emmy-winning program ("The Tyra Banks Show"); "Top Model" and its planned spinoff "Operation Fabulous"; a primetime reality series about beauty for ABC (with partner Katalyst Media); and, making inroads in the film industry, the direct-to-DVD "The Clique," released in November. She also runs an active philanthropic foundation (T-Zone) and hopes to turn her company, Bankable, "into a multifaceted, globally recognized brand of entertainment and lifestyle properties which empower, uplift and entertain," she says. All of which prove that Banks is much more than a pretty face.
