40. Linda Bell Blue
Executive producer, "Entertainment Tonight" and "The Insider"
After 14 seasons producing "Entertainment Tonight" and four more helming "The Insider," don't think that Bell Blue gets a moment's rest -- in fact, she wakes up when many of the celebs her shows spotlight are still out partying. "It's a 24/7 job," she says. "I get up at 3:30 a.m. because we have a 5:00 a.m. conference call. Relaxing is not my strength." And if anything, life has become even more intense as both shows leapt to HD in September, the same month "ET" partnered with MSN. Bell Blue says this year she is most proud of her shows' presidential campaign coverage: "ET" stalwart Mary Hart interviewed the McCains, Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton and conducted the only joint interview of the Democratic ticket candidates and their wives. Now that the election is over, "I would love to land the first exclusive with (the Obama family) puppy. Wouldn't the world want to know that?" |
