Lauren Corrao

66. Lauren Corrao

President of original programming and development, Comedy Central

According to Comedy Central president Michele Ganeless, Corrao is very in touch with her inner "16-year-old boy." Corrao disagrees -- she says her inner boy is 23. But regardless, that instinct has helped her in her tenure at Comedy Central. This year she debuted "The Gong Show With Dave Attell" and David Alan Grier's "Chocolate News." A former Fox exec who helped develop "That '70s Show" and "Mad TV," Corrao admits, "It takes things that are really irreverent and surprising to make me laugh" -- meaning she's a tough room.

Corrao will spend next year with "Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire" ("'Monty Python' meets 'The Princess Bride,'" she says) and "Important Things With Demetri Martin," a showcase for the former "Daily Show" correspondent. Out of the office, though, Corrao leaves her twentysomething inner buddy at work and can be found shopping for antiques.
