Sheinwold has always balanced an adult sensibility with a more free-spirited side: She majored in film at NYU because "I wanted to watch movies and have my parents think I was going to college," she says. The ploy seems to have worked. This year she switched agencies to Endeavor after 15 years at UTA, taking big comedy clients like Jack Black and Jason Segel with her. In her new home she says she's able to leverage entities like the agency-incubated MRC to help better serve her clients. But some things never change -- Sheinwold, for instance, still thinks it can be dangerous for agents to try to keep pace with their comedy clients. "I know to keep my mouth shut, because I can't hold a candle to them," she says. Among other upcoming projects, next year Black has "The Year One" for Sony.
