Lauren Graham also stars in the picture, which centers on an author of spiritual books (Daniels) who gets involved with a single mother (Graham) and also forms a relationship with a former addict. John Hindman made his directing debut on the Philadelphia-set tale, with iDeal Partners Film Fund financing and Kevin Messick and Jana Edelbaum producing.
CAA and ICM brokered the sale. The acquisition for the Wagner/Cuban unit-- which will release the film this summer -- marks the second Sundance acquisition; it earlier scooped up Lynn Shelton's male comedy "Humpday."
