NL picks 'Bone'
Feb 27, 2004
New Line Cinema has pre-emptively picked up Harris Wilkinson's horror pitch "Bone Canyon" for low- against mid-six figures. "Canyon" revolves around a group of college students who find themselves being hunted by supernatural forces after their plane crashes in a desolate mountain town. New Line execs Matt Moore, Mark Kaufman and Luke Ryan are overseeing the project. Harris has "Awake" set up at Universal Pictures with Casey Silver producing. Harris wrote "Stir of Echoes 2" for Artisan. He sold "Off Kilter" to Mostow/Lieberman and adapted the comic book "Wendy the Witch" for Harvey Entertainment. Wilkinson is repped by Broder-Webb-Chervin-Silbermann and attorney Robert Szymanski.
