Cannon romance

Borys Kit and Liza Foreman
Nick Cannon is teaming up with Lindsay Lohan for an untitled romantic comedy for Revolution Studios.

Tom Brady will write and direct the feature, which was pitched to Revolution by Cannon and Michael Goldman. Cannon and Goldman will serve in some producing capacity as will Happy Madison's Jack Giarraputo and Adam Sandler.

The story centers on a young girl (Lohan) trying to make it big in New York's fashion world who gets set up on a date with Cannon's character, who is blind.

The project was brought to Revolution's Todd Garner by Giarraputo and will be overseen by Derek Dauchy.

Cannon starred in "Drumline" and "Love Don't Cost a Thing." He next appears in "Shall We Dance?" as well "The Underclassman." He is one of the writers on the latter as well as an exec producer with Goldman. Goldman also executive produced the 2002 comedy "Big Fat Liar."

Lohan starred in the hits "Mean Girls" and "Freaky Friday." She is attached to "Fashionistas" at Paramount Pictures, "Lady Luck" at Regency Enterprises and "Herbie: Fully Loaded" at Walt Disney Studios.

Brady, a former writer on "The Simpsons," wrote Revolution's "The Animal" and wrote and directed "The Hot Chick."

All three are repped by Endeavor. Cannon and Goldman are additionally repped by attorney Nina Shaw; Lohan by Jason Sloane of Hansen, Jacobson, Teller, Hoberman, Newman, Warren, Sloane & Richman; and Brady by Bill Sobel of Edelstein, Laird & Sobel.
