'Driving' license for scribe Lieber

'Infatuated' driver

Liza Foreman
Rob Lieber has been hired to rewrite "Driving While Infatuated" for Regency Enterprises. With Elizabeth Allen set to direct, "Driving" follows a love-struck girl who, after flunking her driving test, borrows her stepfather's vintage muscle car for a wild night out with her friends. Allen and scribe Kyle Long co-wrote the original script. Gary Fleder is set to produce. The film will be distributed through one of 20th Century Fox's distribution outlets. Lieber recently rewrote "Whitebread" for New Line Cinema and "Greatest Escape" for MGM. He also has written "Slay the Bully" for New Line. Lieber is repped by ICM, manager Alex Goldstone at Fuse and attorney David Weber at Weber Offer and Dern.
