Turner's thriller to Fox, 3B Prods.

20th Century Fox has acquired an untitled pitch from Sheldon Turner to be produced by Jennifer Klein's Apartment 3B Prods. Based on in idea by Stuart Alexander, the story line is being kept tightly under wraps but is described as being a high-concept thriller. Robbie Brenner is overseeing for the studio. Turner ("The Longest Yard") and Klein teamed up on the project "Hexxx," which is in development at MGM and which Turner rewrote. Apartment 3B, which has a first-look deal at MGM, has several other projects in development at the studio. They include "Don't Tell My Mother," "Scrawl" and the urban classroom comedy "F+." Klein also is producing "Truce" for Warner Independent Pictures, which Vadim Perelman has signed on to direct. No stranger to Fox, Turner also is writing "Magneto" for the studio, which is based on the archvillain from the "X-Men" films. He also is writing the drama thriller "Wanted" for Warner Bros. Pictures, which is set to star Meryl Streep and Jennifer Aniston. Turner also has completed a number of rewrites in recent months, including the MGM remake "The Amityville Horror" and "Flight 121" for New Line. He is repped by CAA, attorney David Fox and JC Spink at Benderspink.
