Paul Weitz is set to write and direct "Another Bullshit Night in Suck City" for Columbia Pictures. The film is based on the book by Nick Flynn and is being produced by Michael Costigan and Paul and Chris Weitz's Depth of Field shingle. "Night" is a darkly comic memoir that centers on an unconventional relationship between a father and son. The story begins when the 27-year-old Flynn meets his father for the third time while working as a caseworker in a homeless shelter in Boston. Paul Weitz most recently directed "In Good Company." His other credits include "About a Boy" and "American Pie." He is repped by WMA and attorney Alexander Kohner.
