Levy clocks in for WB comedy

Shawn Levy will direct and Nick Kurzon will write an as-yet untitled project for Warner Bros. Pictures, based on an original pitch by Kurzon. Levy will also produce the comedy along with Plan B.
The high-concept comedy follows a selfish bachelor who wakes up to discover he has a biological clock, and it's ticking.
Jeff Clifford is the studio executive on the project.
Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner are overseeing for Plan B.
"The thought of pairing (Kurzon's) writing talent with a great premise excited me, and excited me so much that I've become both producer and director," Levy said.
Kurzon was producer, editor and cinematographer on the HBO documentary "Born Rich" and was director, editor and cinematographer on "Superchief."
Levy's next directorial offering is the "The Pink Panther" remake, starring Steve Martin, which opens Aug. 5. He also directed the Martin -starrer "Cheaper by the Dozen."
Levy and Kurzon are repped by Endeavor. Levy is additionally represented by attorney Skip Brittenham, and Kurzon by attorney Jodi Peikoff.
