The Entertainment Industry Development Corp. has appointed Michael Bennett as its chief financial officer, putting him in charge of finance, human resources and information technology. Bennett replaces Denise Gutches, who had been serving as interim CFO of the private, nonprofit EIDC, which coordinates production permitting throughout the Los Angeles region as well as handling community affairs. Bennett most recently served as operations chief of Interface Family Services, a nonprofit family services organization in Ventura County.
