NEW YORK -- Amber Tamblyn, Joel David Moore and Zachary Levi are set to star in the psychological thriller "Spiral."

In the film, produced by Cory Neal of High Seas Entertainment, Moore will play a reclusive telemarketer whose dysfunctional friendship with his boss (Levi) is alleviated when a whimsical co-worker (Tamblyn) enters his life. But as he begins to sketch his new friend's portrait, disturbing feelings from his past threaten to lead him down a path of destruction.

Moore, who wrote the screenplay with Jeremy Danial Boering, is co-directing the low-budget project (his feature debut) with Adam Green.

"A year ago, Jeremy and I were sitting around looking at paintings and listening to jazz, so we decided to make a film about that with a Hitchcockian feel ... and a little blood thrown in," Moore said.

Moore appears in the upcoming horror film "Hatchet," produced by Neal and directed by Green. He is co-executive producing with Levi and Rachelle Ryan. The film's co-producers are Boering and David Muller.

Tamblyn ("Joan of Arcadia") and Levi ("Less Than Perfect") are represented by Endeavor and Hyler Management. Moore is represented by Innovative Artists and Ryan Management.
