Trio on ABC's 'Law' case
3 courted for 'Law'

Regina King is in negotiations and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and Jill Ritchie are set to join ABC's dramedy pilot "Women in Law," while Madeleine Stowe has been tapped as the lead in Fox's drama pilot "Southern Comfort."
Additionally, Jonathan Silverman has come on board ABC's comedy series "In Case of Emergency," Christine Taylor has been cast in ABC's comedy pilot "52 Fights," Adam Baldwin has joined Taye Diggs in ABC's drama pilot "Day Break" and Tia Mowry has landed a role in the CW network's comedy pilot "The Game."
In "Women in Law," a dramedy about women working at a law firm, King, Beauvais-Nilon and Ritchie are joining previously cast Kelli Williams.
King's recent credits include features "Ray," for which she won an Image Award, and "Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous."
Beauvais-Nilon, who most recently co-starred on ABC's "Eyes" and in NBC's miniseries "10.5: Apocalypse," will next be seen in the indie "American Gun."
Ritchie was most recently seen in "Herbie: Fully Loaded."
King, Beauvais-Nilon and Ritchie are repped by the Gersh Agency.
Ritchie is managed by Rigberg Entertainment Group.
"Southern Comfort," from 20th Century Fox TV, centers on the wife (Stowe) of a Southern mobster who takes over the business when her husband goes to prison.
Stowe most recently toplined CBS' telefilm "Saving Milly."
"In Case of Emergency," from Touchstone TV, revolves around four friends from high school, one of them played by Silverman, who unexpectedly reunite during a crossroads in their lives.
The pilot for the series will be directed by Jon Favreau, who also wrote, directed and starred alongside Silverman in the 2001 feature "Made."
Silverman is repped by WMA and Untitled Entertainment.
"52 Fights," from Touchstone TV and Brillstein Grey TV, is based on the book about a newly married couple's transition from dating to marriage.
Taylor, recently seen in a multiepisode arc on Fox's "Arrested Development," will play the wife. The casting doesn't lift the cast contingency on the project.
"Day Break," from Touchstone TV, is a thriller revolving around a cop (Diggs) on the run after being framed for murder. Baldwin will play a grizzled veteran of the force.
Baldwin, most recently seen in the feature "Serenity," is repped by Innovative Artists and manager Steven Siebert at Lighthouse Entertainment.
"The Game," from CBS Paramount Network TV and Grammnet Prods. revolves around women in the lives of professional football players
Mowry will play Melanie. She is replacing Cynthia Addai-Robinson, who was originally cast in the role.
Mowry, probably best known for her starring role opposite her twin sister, Tamera, in the WB's "Sister, Sister," most recently appeared in multiple episodes of UPN's "Love, Inc."
In other pilot casting news, Shannon Lucio has joined ABC's "A House Divided" and Coby Ryan McLaughlin and Krysten Ritter have been added to CBS' untitled Port & Wiseman project.
