Nellie Andreeva
Hot off his stint on "24," Sean Astin is in negotiations to star in ABC's comedy pilot "The Guys."

Meanwhile, Jennifer Esposito has been tapped as the lead in Fox's comedy pilot "More, Patience," Lindsay Sloane has landed the female lead opposite Nick Lachey in the CW comedy pilot "She Said/He Said," Roger Bart has joined Tom Cavanagh in CBS' comedy pilot "My Ex-Life," Emmy winner Cloris Leachman has been added to the cast of NBC's untitled Chris Sheridan comedy pilot, and Paul Michael Glaser has been cast in Fox's drama pilot "Faceless."

In other pilot news, Marsh McCall has come aboard NBC's comedy pilot "Twenty Good Years" as executive producer/showrunner.

"Guys," from Warner Bros. TV and the Tannenbaum Co., revolves around five guys who become friends when their kids have a playdate at the home of one of them (Astin).

Astin next appears opposite Adam Sandler in the feature "Click." He is repped by Paradigm, the Collective and attorney Dave Feldman.

"More, Patience," from Sony Pictures TV and Pariah, centers on a New York psychiatrist (Esposito) who neurotically mishandles her own life. Esposito replaces Alicia Witt, who orignally was cast in the role. The project is formally in second position to Esposito's current series, WB Network's "Related."

"She Said/He Said," from CBS Paramount Network TV and WBTV, is a romantic comedy told through male and female perspectives.

Sloane's credits include the feature "The In-Laws" and the CBS series "The Stones."

"My Ex-Life," from 20th Century Fox TV, looks at life from the perspective of two divorced couples.

Bart, who most recently portrayed the conniving pharmacist George Williams on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," is repped by ICM and Handprint Entertainment.

The 20th TV-produced Sheridan comedy is about two brothers (Eddie McClintock, Craig Bierko) on opposite sides of the law who live next door to each other. Leachman will play the men's acerbic mother.

McCall rewrote the script for "Twenty Good Years," which stars John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor about two men in their 50s who experience personal epiphanies and decide to make the most of their next 20 years. Warner Bros. TV is producing with Werner-Gold-Miller.

In "Faceless," about a pair of hostage negotiators, Glaser will play the powerful owner of a porn empire.

Glaser, best known for his starring role on the series "Starsky and Hutch," also has been directing episodes of "Without a Trace" and "Third Watch." He is repped by SDB Partners and manager Mark Teitelbaum.
