NEW YORK -- Rebecca Romijn and Keith Carradine are joining Sissy Spacek, Troy Garity and Dave Matthews in the drama "Lake City."

Romijn plays a small-town cop romantically involved with Garity's character, who reunites with his estranged mother (Spacek) when deadly circumstances threaten their home. Carradine plays a local gas station attendant, and Matthews, who will be billed as David Matthews in the film, plays a member of a dangerous crowd that entraps the son.

"City" marks the feature directorial debut of co-writers Perry Moore and Hunter Hill. It is being produced by Allison Sarofim, Donna Bascom, Mark Johnson, Mike Ryan and Weiman Seid. Sally Pope serves as executive producer.

Romijn's recent projects include "X-Men: The Last Stand," "Godsend" and "Femme Fatale." Carradine's credits include "Nashville," HBO's "Deadwood" and "The Death and Life of Bobby Z." Production on the film began Monday in Virginia.

Romijn is repped by William Morris Agency and managed by Molly Madden at 3 Arts Entertainment. Carradine is repped by Innovative Artists.
