Scott Collins
"Dog Eat Dog" helped NBC to a commanding win among viewers 18-49 Monday, according to preliminary figures from Nielsen Media Research. The reality game averaged a 5.4 rating/15 share, the evening's best number in the demo. Abetted by a repeat of "Fear Factor" (4.4/14), the peacock overall averaged 4.4/13, well ahead of CBS (3.5/11), ABC (1.9/6) and Fox (1.6/5). CBS again took the prize for total viewers, with "48 Hours" and a repeat of "Everybody Loves Raymond" boosting the network to an 11.2 million average, followed by NBC (9.8 million), ABC (7.4 million) and Fox (3.3 million). ABC's golf event, "Lincoln Financial Group Battle at Bighorn," delivered mediocre results, peaking with a 2.3/6 during the 10-10:30 p.m. half-hour.
