Revolutionary Road
MOVIE OF THE DECADE
"REVOLUTIONARY ROAD" is not only the movie of the year, but it's also the movie of the decade. Now, DreamWorks Pictures and director Sam Mendes are responsible for the two best motion pictures ever (the other being "AMERICAN BEAUTY"). This extraordinary film features two mind-blowing performances by Leonardo DiCaprio and, especially, Kate Winslet. If I was an Oscar voter, "REVOLUTIONARY ROAD" would definitely get my vote for Best Picture of the Year. A standing ovation for everyone involved in creating this cinematic masterpiece. Bravo, bravo, bravo!

Revolutionary Road
Tale of depression
Lack of motivation and background on the part of the characters makes this movie scattered. Also this was set in the 50s, were these people (especially the wife) in need of depression therapy? Their plan to runaway made no sense at any time. Good acting, not great acting. The supporting role of the neighbor's son with mental problems outshines the other work here, he was scary and superb.
