Glorifies Suicied
This movie glorifies suicide, and to think that at no time of the year is suicide higher then the week after Christmas. This movie is a stupid waste of resources (with Will Smith being the biggest wasted resource). Further, its deeper meaning (not to text while driving), while serious, is at best “reached for” in order to give this idiotic move some type of legitimacy.

Caralou
Hey, anybody could say that there were too many overdrawn close up shots of the tragic faced Smith. Too many teary moments looking into the girls eyes, but not saying anything of importance. Or too many heartbreaking moments when he almost bursts iut crying, but valiantly regains control. All these things are true. But what is also true, as that any real person that screwed up that badly with a cell phone, probably really couldn't live with himself. So his efforts to change lives finally made sense, and you find yourself glad that he's made the right decisions in the end. The writer cold have let us in on the plan a bit earlier, because you end up figuring it out before he finally lets it out.Karma ends up ruling in this flick, but guess what? That's true in real life too! And so I think Will Smith did a great job with a screenplay that could have been a lot tastier with the sorrowful faces and mysterious meetings.
