He has starred in one other Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, when he was cast in a Nashville-based production of Cinderella. The Hollywood Reporter that when he was asked to audition for The Sound of Music, he had never seen the musical – neither the stage production nor the legendary motion picture. His girlfriend, actor Jennifer Paz [Miss Saigon,Les Miserables], quickly took care of that.
“Jennifer said we had to bring me up to speed,” Fedorov tells THR. “We went to the library and borrowed the DVD. I finally had a chance to see the movie.”

“Anthony will be fantastic!” Urich exclaimed to THR when asked about Fedorov being cast as Rolf. “He has always been a great supporter for Sarcoma Research and I enjoy seeing him perform every year at the Sarcoma Foundation of America's annual event in New York City. He even came to perform at the Robert Urich Foundation for Cancer Research event at the Music Box in Hollywood in November of 2011. Bravo, Anthony!”
