'American Idol' Alum Didi Benami Causes 'Trouble' in New Video
The season nine alum battles her evil twin in a new clip from her forthcoming album, "Reverie."
Everybody has a dark side, even American Idol season nine alum Didi Benami, who faces down her inner demons in the video for "Trouble."
Directed by Nicholes Miltello, Benami, 27, shows both her good and bad self as she is filmed driving down a deserted highway in a muscle car by her evil Doppelganger. The clip -- which showcases Benami's natural acting chops -- ends in a symbolic struggle for the steering wheel as she attempts to gain control of her life.
"It's me fighting with myself," Benami tells The Hollywood Reporter. "There's definitely two Didi's -- evil me and angel me. The light self meets the dark self."
The song, written by Benami's producer, Billy Mohler, is now available on iTunes and will be included on Benami's debut album, Reverie, which came together via a successful PledgeMusic campaign.
